Work offline in the court building

How PocketPeshi works with no signal: open case files, record proceedings and fix dates offline, and let them sync automatically when you are back on data.

Why this matters

Basements, old court buildings and crowded complexes often have no usable signal. PocketPeshi is built for that: once a case file has been opened on your device while online, it stays available offline, and the work you do after court is saved locally and synced later.

Before you go to court

  1. Open the app while you still have data, so today’s cases and the calendar are loaded onto the device.
  2. Open the specific case files you expect to be called, so their full history is available offline.
  3. For the best experience, install PocketPeshi on your phone so it opens like an app.

What works with no signal

  • Reading any case file you have opened before — history, parties, stage, fees, documents.
  • Home, the Today and Tomorrow lists, and the month calendar.
  • Recording a proceeding and fixing the next date.
  • Editing a proceeding or rescheduling a hearing.
  • Recording a fee payment.

What needs a connection

  • Creating a new case or a new client.
  • Uploading a document or photo.
  • Signing in, and adding or removing an assistant.

The app tells you when an action needs data, so nothing is lost — you just finish it once you are back online.

How syncing works

Anything you save offline is queued on the device and marked pending. When the connection returns, the queue is sent to the server in order and each item is confirmed. You do not need to press anything; if you want to check, the sync status is shown in the app.

If an item cannot be accepted (for example the case was changed elsewhere), it is held for you to review in Settings rather than dropped.
