Privacy Policy
Last updated: 31 August 2026
This policy explains what PocketPeshi collects, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to match how the service actually works. If anything here is unclear, contact us — details are at the end.
Who we are
PocketPeshi is operated by Sadevz Labs, and was built by Saqlain Amin. Sadevz Labs is the data controller for the information described here. You can reach us by email at info@sadevz.com or on WhatsApp at +92 327 5857692.
What we collect
Sign-up and profile details
When you sign up we collect your full name, email and phone number, and the fact that you accepted these terms. Anything you later add to your profile — such as qualifications or a photo — is collected then.
Content you enter in the app
Once you have an account, we store the information you and your assistants put into the workspace: clients, cases, hearings and peshis, proceedings and outcomes, litigation stages, fee agreements and payments, and documents you upload (order sheets, pleadings, evidence and similar).
Technical and usage data
We record basic log data (such as request times and error diagnostics), your device and browser type, and in-app usage analytics — which screens are opened, how long a session lasts and how often the app is opened. Usage analytics are collected only while you are online and are used to run and improve the service, not to profile you. Raw analytics events are kept for about 90 days and then deleted; only anonymous daily rollups, with no screen-level detail, are retained beyond that.
Cookies
The app currently uses only the cookies needed to keep you signed in. The marketing site uses no analytics, cookies or third-party tracking. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies anywhere.
Advertising
PocketPeshi is free to use and shows no ads. We may introduce advertising in a future update. If we do, we will update this policy with the partners used and your choices before ads go live, and ads will not appear in the screens you use to record proceedings or handle client data.
A paid Premium plan (see the Terms) is planned; it is purchased inside the app and is not ad-supported.
Your password
Your password is stored only as a salted, one-way hash (bcrypt). No one at Sadevz Labs can read it. It can be reset, but it cannot be recovered.
Who can see your case content
Your workspace is private to you and the assistants you add. Other customers cannot see it.
Platform administrators at Sadevz Labs can technically access workspace content, but only in limited circumstances: to provide support you have requested, to investigate a security problem, or where the law requires it. Every such access is recorded in an audit log. We do not browse workspace content otherwise.
How we use data
We use the information above to:
- provide, maintain and secure the service;
- review access applications and manage accounts;
- respond to your support requests;
- arrange billing and keep the records the law requires; and
- understand which features are used, so we can improve them.
We do not sell your data. We do not use the contents of your clients, cases or documents for advertising or to train machine-learning models. We do not share your data with third parties except the infrastructure providers described below, acting on our instructions, and where the law requires it.
Where it is stored
Your workspace data is held on managed cloud infrastructure. We use a small number of processors acting on our behalf:
- Supabase — a managed PostgreSQL database, hosted in Singapore, for your workspace records;
- Cloudinary — private file and image storage for uploaded documents and avatars, served through short-lived signed links; and
- email, for occasional account or support messages.
Data is processed by these providers outside Pakistan. Anything you record offline stays on your own device until it syncs to the server.
Retention
We keep your workspace data for as long as your account is active, and for 30 days after an account is closed so that it can be recovered if closure was a mistake, after which it is permanently deleted. Audit logs and billing records are kept for as long as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, export it, or delete it. You can export most of your workspace yourself from Settings at any time. To make any other request, email info@sadevz.com; we aim to respond within 30 days. This service is aimed at users in Pakistan and this policy is governed by the law of Pakistan.
Security
We serve all traffic over HTTPS, store passwords only as hashes, apply access controls and audit logging to administrative access, and take regular backups. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that a determined attacker will never succeed, but we treat workspace data as confidential and design accordingly.
Eligibility
PocketPeshi is for practising advocates and their staff. It is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the current version. If a change is material, we will notify signed-in users. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy. See also our Terms & Conditions.
