Scan and file documents

Capture the order sheet with your phone camera before you leave court, or upload pleadings and evidence later, and keep every document attached to its case.

Keep the file complete

Every document you attach in PocketPeshi stays with its case, so you are not carrying a separate folder or searching your phone gallery before a hearing. The order sheet, pleadings, evidence and the final judgment all sit on the case file.

Capture the order sheet at court

  1. Open the case, go to Documents, and add a document.
  2. Use your phone camera to photograph the order sheet before you leave.
  3. Set the category to Order sheet, and attach it to the proceeding you just recorded if you are prompted.
  4. Save.

Uploading needs a connection. If there is no signal, record the proceeding first (that works offline) and add the photo once you are back on data — take the picture now so you do not forget.

Upload pleadings and evidence later

From your desk you can upload files as well as photos. Pick the category that fits — pleading, evidence, application, judgment or other — and give the document a short title so it is easy to find.

Tips

  • Shoot in good light and fill the frame with the page — it keeps text readable.
  • One document per upload; add multi-page sets as separate entries or a single PDF.
  • Attaching a document to a proceeding ties it to that hearing in the case history — useful for order sheets and filed applications.
